FAIRPORT, NY. – The Rochester Jr. Americans are excited to announce their 2024-25 Promotional Schedule packed with unique giveaways, exciting theme nights, and thrilling events.
“Our games are quickly building a reputation as an amazing event for the whole family,” Director of Marketing Kyle Cannillo said. “Our goal is simple: we want the best atmosphere in the country for a value that cannot be beat. With $7 tickets and kids in free, there is no doubt we are the most affordable entertainment there is. Hard to beat it.”
The Jr. Amerks will hit the ice on Sept. 13 and Sept. 14 for their opening weekend. Earlier this month, the team announce its monumental promotions including $2 beer, $1 hot dogs, $1 pizza slices, rally towels, and magnet schedule. In addition, the weekend will debut the team’s first ever mascot.
This year’s promotional schedule is sure to give fans something to look forward to. With a packed slate in October, the team will host an 80’s night, Hockey Fights Cancer Night, Oktoberfest, and Halloween Night.
The action on the ice will be exciting and we want to match that energy in the stands,” Cannillo said. “With promotions built into each game, we hope fans are invested and contribute to an awesome atmosphere.”
The Jr. Amerks will join the rest of the NAHL on November 23th with Military Appreciation Night. Like last season, ALL ticket revenue from the game will be donated to veterans. The team will wear specialty military jerseys. Following the game, fans can bid on the game worn jersey to help raise money for veterans.
“We want to continue being an integral part of this community,” Cannillo said. “Last season we raised over $13,000 for various non-profit organizations. When we support the community, they support us back. It’s a big part of the Jr. Americans DNA.”
It wouldn’t be a Jr. Amerks season without a pair “whiteout” nights! We ask all fans to wear white Dec. 14 and Mar. 15. Last season, these were two of the biggest regular season games of the year. Fans will be given a free whiteout rally towels upon entrance.
After the new year, first responders and school staff each get their own appreciation nights. To round out the season, the Jr. Amerks will have their billet/fan appreciation night.
Popular promotions such as $1 hot dog and $2 beer nights are here to stay as well. They will be sprinkled throughout the season schedule.
That’s just scratching the surface. Single game tickets are on sale now for just $7. Fans have the option to purchase online or at the door on game day.
