FAIRPORT, NY. – The Rochester Jr. Americans are proud to announce their promotional schedule for the 2023-24 season. Fans can look forward to unique giveaways, exciting theme nights, and thrilling events.
“From the beginning, we want Jr. Amerks games to be must-see events,” Director of Media and Marketing Kyle Cannillo said. “We are going big from the start. These promotional nights will be a blast for the whole family at a value that cannot be beat.”
The Jr. Amerks will hit the ice on Sept. 8 and Sept. 9. for their grand opening weekend. Earlier this month, the team announced their “Hockey Fights Hunger” initiative and will donate all ticket revenue from the weekend to Foodlink. In addition, Friday night will be a rally towel giveaway while on Saturday the team will hand out free magnet schedules.
“We want to be an integral part of this community from day one,” Cannillo said. “The action on the ice will be exciting and we want to match that in the stands. With promotions built into each game, the Jr. Amerks hope fans are invested and contribute to an awesome atmosphere.”
The promotional schedule includes two pregame tailgates with the first being on Sept. 22. With a packed slate in October, the team will hold a Wegmans Staff Night, a Beach Tropical Night, Oktoberfest, and a Halloween Night.
The Jr. Amerks will join the rest of the NAHL on November 18th with Military Appreciation Night. Following the game, fans can bid on players’ jerseys to help raise money for veterans.
The Jr. Amerks will hold two “whiteout” nights where they ask all fans in attendance to wear white. This will be held on Dec 9 and Feb. 17. Fans will be given a free t-shirt on arrival.
After the new year, first responders and school staff each get their own appreciation nights. To round out the season, the Jr. Amerks will have their billet/fan appreciation night.
That’s just scratching the surface. Single game tickets are on sale now for just $7. Fans have the option to purchase online or at the door on game day.
